PointsBet Holdings Limited announced that Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Andrew Mellor will transition out of his role and Alister Lui will assume the role of Group CFO following the Company's half year results in February 2024. Group CFO of PointsBet for five years, Andrew has played a critical role in the growth and strategy of the business as well as successfully transforming the finance and investor relations functions as the Company moved from a small-cap start-up to a complex global business with operations in 16 jurisdictions. Following discussions with Andrew regarding his future ambitions, PointsBet has put in place a transition plan for the Group CFO role.

Andrew will remain with the business until 29 February 2024 to assist with a comprehensive transition of responsibilities to Alister, particularly in the lead up to PointsBet's half year 2024 financial results and Final Completion of the sale of the US Business to Fanatics Betting and Gaming. Alister Lui, PointsBet's current Chief Financial Officer (Australia) and Head of Group Finance has been appointed to the role of Group CFO effective from 1 March 2024. Alister has been with PointsBet for more than six years in financial controller and treasury roles and has a deep knowledge of PointsBet's finances, operations, and culture.

He is a Chartered Accountant with more than 17 years' experience in senior banking and finance roles in London and Melbourne, including with Ernst & Young and ANZ prior to joining PointsBet in November 2017.
