Pokarna Limited reported earnings results for the fourth quarter and full year ended March 31, 2023. For the fourth quarter, the company reported sales was INR 1,616.4 million compared to INR 2,043.45 million a year ago. Revenue was INR 1,652.93 million compared to INR 2,090.51 million a year ago. Net income was INR 106.89 million compared to INR 201.07 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was INR 3.45 compared to INR 6.49 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was INR 3.45 compared to INR 6.49 a year ago.
For the full year, sales was INR 7,279.9 million compared to INR 6,501.91 million a year ago. Revenue was INR 7,393.2 million compared to INR 6,568.04 million a year ago. Net income was INR 658.11 million compared to INR 783 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was INR 21.23 compared to INR 25.25 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was INR 21.23 compared to INR 25.25 a year ago.
Pokarna Limited is an India-based company, which is principally engaged in the business of quarrying, manufacturing and processing and selling of granite and manufacturing and selling of apparel under the brand name Stanza. The Company's quarries produce colors, which include Acacia, Black Galaxy, Coffee Brown, Flash Blue, Pokarna Green, Sapphire Blue, Seaweed Green, Silver Pearl and Vizag Blue. Its color palette includes over 75 varieties of granite sourced within India in addition to Saudi Arabia and Iran. Its product range includes an array of random slabs, tiles and cultosize. The Companyâs residential project includes UB City, Bangalore; Prestige Golfshire Villas, and Tidel Park. Its commercial projects include Marriott Hotels and Marriott Countyard. The Company also has a retail division for the STANZA brand and produces clothing under that name. The Company has two manufacturing facilities in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
