VK-Media AB, Polaris Media ASA (OB:POL) and NWT Gruppen AB agreed to acquire an additional unknown majority stake in Stampen AB from Hjörne family for approximately SEK 370 million.

VK-Media AB, Polaris Media ASA (OB:POL) and NWT Gruppen AB agreed to acquire an additional unknown majority stake in Stampen AB from Hjörne family for approximately SEK 370 million on May 6, 2021. Through the change, Polaris Media owns 70%, NWT Gruppen 20%, VK Media 10%, while the remaining 0.009% is owned by Journalistklubben and Unionenklubben on Stampen Media. Peter Hjörne will continue as editorial columnist in Göteborgs-Posten until the autumn of 2022.

In 2020, Stampen Media reported a profit (EBITDA) of SEK 128 million.
