NOTICE TO THE MARKET
Porto Seguro S.A. ("Company"), in addition to the Notice to the Market disclosed on 05.31.2023, announces to its shareholders and the market in general, the election of Lie Uema do Carmo as an independent member of the Board of Directors, replacing Paulo Kakinoff, who leaves the Board of Directors to dedicate itself to the succession process of the Company's presidency.
Lie Uema do Carmo is a lawyer with more than 20 years of professional experience working in large law firms in São Paulo, focusing on the areas of Corporate, M&A, Capital Markets, Corporate Contracts, Investment Funds, Corporate Governance and Compliance, Arbitration and Law of Construction. PhD in Commercial Law from the Faculty of Law of the University of São Paulo (USP) (2009), cum laude. Visiting scholar, Law School, Columbia University, USA (2011). Master in Civil Law from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (PUC- SP) (2006). LL.M. from the University of Chicago (2003). Specialization in International Trade Law from the University Institute of European Studies and International Labor Organization (1999). Bachelor of Laws from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (PUC-SP) (1998). Undergraduate and Professional Master's Professor at FGV Direito SP. Coordinated the Professional Master's Degree at FGV Direito SP and several lato sensu specialization courses at the same school. Member of the Audit Committee of Porto Seguro S.A. in two periods (2005-2010 and 2015-2020).
