How does one get started as a technical consultant in a business where the market is crying out for skilled competence but the tight competition does not allow the companies to invest in long term periods of training? Pöyry's solution to this is an intensive graduate program that combines training with real project experience.

Pöyry Sweden T&D is starting its graduate trainee program 'Konsultslussen' for the 9th year in a row. Sixteen recent graduate engineers will use the coming 20 weeks to get to know the transmission and distribution industry and learn how to work in a smart and efficient way as a technical consultant. The program is built in a way that gives the trainees valuable input, from weekly practical and theoretical lessons, and in parallel, facilitates involvement in client projects from the start. Every trainee gets a personal mentor from one of the consultants that have previously been part of the same program, i.e. the 'Konsultslussen Graduates', and are supported every step of the way by a magnificent team of highly skilled senior consultants.

'Konsultslussen' is strongly contributing to the growth of the overall T&D business in Sweden, and is recognised by our clients as a positive and innovative solution. Our clients are even invited to include their own recently graduated employees to join selected lessons or to take part in shaping the program by presenting a topic of their own interest.
Please do not hesitate to get in touch if this sounds interesting to your company, or if you would like to get some more information about the program.

The application period for Konsultslussen 2019 is will start Q1 2019.
