Prologis' chief operating officer, Gary Anderson, is retiring from the industrial-property giant next year.

Prologis on Wednesday said Anderson, who has been operating chief since March 2019, will become senior adviser on Jan. 1 ahead of his planned departure at the end of June.

Prologis said Carter Andrus, who joined the San Francisco company Prologis in 2008 and currently serves as global head of operations, will succeed Anderson as chief operating officer and join its executive committee.
