PT Tambang Batubara Bukit Asam Tbk : PTBA Participates in IBD EXPO 2017

As a form of 'BUMN Hadir untuk Negeri', Indonesia Business Development (IBD) Expo 2017 is present to convey to the audiences for the achievement of all state-owned enterprises. As one of the SOEs, PT Bukit Asam (Persero) Tbk or PTBA, participated in this IBD Expo 2017.

The opening of IBD Expo 2017 was conducted at JCC Senayan Plenary Hall on September 20, 2017 by the President of Republic Indonesia, Joko Widodo. President stated that the implementation of IBD Expo 2017 aims to provide a forum for business forum as well as interaction and communication with stakeholders.

For 4 days at JCC Senayan, PTBA introduced to the public about electrification mining which started by PTBA since early 2017. Uniquely, the delivery to the public regarding mining electrification using a miniature that can be played by the visitors. Through this way, visitors can better know the electrification mining run by PTBA.

Not only partners who are interested to try miniature mining electrification, even the students and children who come also interested. Students can understand firsthand the coal mining process.

At the IBD Expo 2017, PTBA also brought the built partners from Sawahlunto which is coal sculpture. In the hands of PTBA's partners, the coal is transformed into miniature mines to various forms of animals.

In line with IBD Expo theme this year, 'Synergy Towards Great Indonesia' is expected that the public can know the role and contribution of SOEs in the progress of the nation. Similarly, the role of Bukit Asam in this event to be able to interact directly to stakeholders and the community about the latest green mining and innovation owned by PTBA.

The spirit of 'synergy' was shown in the activity by cooperating with Holding Group of Mining Sector in a collaboration of one exhibition booth, Antam, Bukit Asam, Inalum, and Timah as a form of a synergy between BUMN in mining sector.
