Rosseti FGC UES to Construct RUB 2.5 mn Worth Power Facilities for the Power Supply of Inaglinsky Mining and Processing Plant in Yakutiya

Formation of the scheme of external power supply of the anchor resident of territories of advanced development (TAD) 'Yuzhnaya Yakutiya' - Inaglinsky Mining and Processing Plant has been begun. Before the end of 2021, Rosseti FGC UES (FGC UES, PJSC) will put into operation 220kV 'Naldinskaya' substation, as well as incoming lines with a length of 13.8 km from the operating OHTL. Technological connection will have maximum capacity of 57.98 MW

The work is performed in the areas with adverse climatic conditions: temperature drops between +38 and -57°С, wind loads up to 27 m/s. Technological solutions, aimed at the minimization of power supply interruption risks are used in the construction.

Primary and secondary equipment at 220 kV 'Naldinskaya' substation will be controlled remotely from the automated work place of the operating staff, using data exchange digital protocols. Power equipment (for transformers with a total capacity of 176 MVA) will be equipped with a modern monitoring system for online control of the key operating parameters.

220 kV air-insulated substation (IS) will be built at the facility territory, that will be connected with incoming lines from 220 kV OHTL for the provision of electrical connection with 220 kV 'NPS-18' substation and Neryungrinskaya GRES, the largest electric power station in Yakutia. Enclosed IS 35 kV, 6.6 kV and 6.3 kV will also be constructed allowing to protect the commutation equipment from the environmental forces, and increasing safety and reliability.

Current-limiting reactors and arc-damping units will be used to decrease the quadrature-phase component and increase the quality of the power submitted. Besides this power facility will be equipped with the relay protection smart system, automated system of commercial power metering. More than 90% of all used equipment was manufactured in Russia.

Inaglinsky Mining and Beneficiation Plant is a project of Kolmar Group of Companies, uniting the coal producers, trading and logistic companies. The company processes the reserves of Chulmakansky and Verkhne-Taluminsky fields. The total volume of investments exceeds RUB 72 bn, at that more than 4 thousand work places will be created.
