Purcari Winery installs an Irrigation System

Purcari Winery ("The Company"), part of Purcari Wineries PLC ("Purcari Wineries", "the Group"), has completed its investments in an Irrigation System that covers 300 ha of its vineyards, with the option to further extend the system to an area of 500 ha.

The Company opted for an intelligent, fully automated subsurface drip irrigation system - Netafim, who is among the leaders in the field of irrigation solutions. The water for the irrigation system is sourced from a distance of 6 km into two storage pools of 11,000 m3 and 24,000 m3 respectively.

This investment is part of the Group's sustainable development strategy, with the objective to assure high quality grapes in the context of regional climatic changes.
