QBE named one of Australia's top graduate employers

QBE Australia (QBE) has been named one of Australia's top graduate employers for 2024 by the Australian Association of Graduate Employers (AAGE), which recognises organisations delivering the best graduate experiences through its annual Top 75 Graduate Employers list.

QBE was ranked 2nd by industry (Banking, Financial Services and Insurance), 3rd by intake size (medium), and was the highest-ranking insurer overall on the list. The AAGE's list is based on feedback from over 4,000 graduates recruited as part of the 2023 graduate intake in organisations across Australia.

Shiona Watson, Chief People Officer, QBE Australia Pacific said that being named a top graduate employer is fantastic recognition of the dedicated work that goes into creating a graduate program and is testament to QBE's commitment to nurturing and developing young talent.

Graduates are asked to rate their employer on around 25 different categories, including company culture, training and development, career progression, and access to mentoring and networking.

Survey participants were all current graduates who have up to 12 months of full-time experience with their organisation

QBE graduate, Aish Karthikeyan, added: 'I've found the culture at QBE to be vibrant and visible. My learning and development have always been prioritised, which has created a safe and supportive environment to ask questions. It really feels like you belong, even if you've only just started.'
