King Hamm Industrial Co., Ltd. announced a private placement of 13,700,000 shares at a price of TWD 24.41 per share for gross proceeds of TWD 334,400,000 in an equity round of funding on November 23,2017. The transaction will include participation from new investor Quang Viet Enterprise Co., Ltd. (TSEC:4438). Post the closing, the investor will hold 42% stake in the company.
Quang Viet Enterprise Co Ltd is primarily engaged in the apparel manufacturing business. The Company is mainly engaged in the manufacture of down jackets, high-end technical jackets and warm clothing. The products mainly include down jackets, resin cotton garments, high-grade knitted garments, other general jackets, high-end technical functional jackets, suits, trousers, shorts, high-level swimwear, rhythm suits, high-quality sleeping bags, among others, as well as high-end down materials including goose down, duck down, among others. The Company mainly distributes its products in North America, Mainland China, Europe, Japan, Russia and other markets.
