Rafael Microelectronics, Inc. reported earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended June 30, 2023. For the second quarter, the company reported sales was TWD 233.16 million compared to TWD 320.09 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 11.34 million compared to TWD 45.04 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.37 compared to TWD 1.51 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.37 compared to TWD 1.48 a year ago.
For the six months, sales was TWD 534.51 million compared to TWD 563.21 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 34.16 million compared to TWD 64.89 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 1.13 compared to TWD 2.18 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 1.12 compared to TWD 2.13 a year ago.
Rafael Microelectronics, Inc. is a Taiwan-based company mainly engaged in design, manufacture and sales of radio frequency integrated circuits (RFICs) and integrated RF systems. The Company's main products are RFICs, including RF tuners, LNB outdoor units and satellite-related ICs. Its products are widely used in set-top boxes for TV, digital cable, terrestrial broadcasting andsatellite, as well as satellite front-end receiving systems and wireless RF transmission systems. The Company distributes its products within domestic markets and to overseas markets.
