UPDATE ON ELECTIVE SURGERY RESTRICTIONS ON NSW PRIVATE HOSPITALS
Ramsay Health Care (Ramsay) (ASX: RHC) notes the announcement by the NSW Ministry of Health today, that in response to the stabilisation of COVID cases in that state, restrictions on elective surgery have been eased to a cap of 75% of usual capacity on elective surgery activity1. The change in restrictions will be effective as of 7th February 20222.
Ramsay will provide further details on the impact of the surgical restrictions in Australia at its FY22 half year result release to be made to the market on Thursday 24th February 2022.
