Rawlplug S.A. announced consolidated financial results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2018. For the quarter, the company reported revenue from sale of products, goods, materials and services of PLN 178,224,000 against PLN 167,327,000 a year ago. Operating profit was PLN 13,566,000 against PLN 12,248,000 a year ago. Net profit on continuing operations was PLN 8,986,000 against PLN 9,624,000 a year ago. Net profit attributable to: owners of the parent was PLN 7,538,000 against PLN 8,702,000 a year ago. Net profit per ordinary share: On continuing operations- Basic were PLN 0.23 against PLN 0.25 a year ago. Net cash from operating activities was negative PLN 27,380,000 against PLN 5,562,000 a year ago. Purchase of property, plant and equipment and intangible assets was PLN 9,721,000 against PLN 11,055,000 a year ago.
Rawlplug SA, (formerly Koelner SA), is a Poland-based manufacturer and wholesaler of fixings for construction and industry sectors. Its range of activities includes the production and distribution of fixing systems, cable suspension systems, insulation fixings for facades and roofs, self-drilling screws, powder actuated and gas-driven fastening systems, accessories for drywall systems, wood connectors, ropes and rope accessories, as well as hand and power tools, including screw drivers, pliers, hammers, drilling and cutting tools, and others. It product portfolio includes about 40,000 items offered under such brand names as Koelner, Modeco, Rrawlplug, Globus and Rawlfixing. As of December 31, 2011, the Company operated a number of subsidiaries based in Poland, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Romania, Lithuania, Ukraine, South Africa, Germany and Slovakia, among others.
