RDC Semiconductor Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2019. For the first quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 60.972 million compared to TWD 106.293 million a year ago. Operating loss was TWD 7.173 million compared to operating income of TWD 31.861 million a year ago. Net loss was TWD 7.124 million compared to net income of TWD 30.415 million a year ago. Basic loss per share was TWD 0.11 compared to basic earnings per share of TWD 0.45 a year ago.
RDC Semiconductor Co., Ltd. is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the research, development, manufacture and distribution of microcontroller unit (MCU) semiconductor components. The Company provides MCU chips, which are applied in industrial personal computers (IPCs), flat panel displays (FPDs), measurement instruments, as well as microprocessor chips, which are applied in industrial computers boards, industrial controllers, industrial panel personal computers (PCs), computer numerical control (CNC) controller and others. It also provides network processor system on chips (SoCs) and Internet access device (IAD) platforms. The Company distributes its products primarily in Taiwan, the rest of Asia, Europe and the Americas.
