RDC Semiconductor Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2020. For the first quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 75.258 million compared to TWD 60.972 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 635,000 compared to operating loss of TWD 7.173 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 1.447 million compared to net loss of TWD 7.124 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 0.02 compared to basic loss per share of TWD 0.11 a year ago.
RDC Semiconductor Co., Ltd. is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the research, development, manufacture and distribution of microcontroller unit (MCU) semiconductor components. The Company provides MCU chips, which are applied in industrial personal computers (IPCs), flat panel displays (FPDs), measurement instruments, as well as microprocessor chips, which are applied in industrial computers boards, industrial controllers, industrial panel personal computers (PCs), computer numerical control (CNC) controller and others. It also provides network processor system on chips (SoCs) and Internet access device (IAD) platforms. The Company distributes its products primarily in Taiwan, the rest of Asia, Europe and the Americas.
