RenaissanceRe Holdings Ltd. reported earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended June 30, 2023. For the second quarter, the company reported revenue was USD 1,853.23 million compared to USD 866.97 million a year ago. Net income was USD 199.87 million compared to net loss of USD 316.07 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 4.1 compared to basic loss per share from continuing operations of USD 7.53 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 4.09 compared to diluted loss per share from continuing operations of USD 7.53 a year ago.
For the six months, revenue was USD 4,058.33 million compared to USD 1,743.39 million a year ago. Net income was USD 772.78 million compared to net loss of USD 701.64 million a year ago.
