Restaurant Brands International (RBI) has boosted its senior-level management team by making two new hires. RBI appointed Peter Perdue as the chief operating officer (COO) of Burger King US and Canada and Katerina Glyptis as Tim Hortons US president. For more than a decade, Perdue has been associated with RBI, holding senior roles in franchising, operations, finance, field support and retail in the US and Asia Pacific region.

Perdue will focus on operational consistency across North America's 7,200 Burger King restaurants. He will also oversee restaurant operations, the field team and company-owned restaurants. He will be reporting to Burger King US and Canada president Tom Curtis.

RBI appointed Glyptis to expedite the brand's growth and development in the region. She will be reporting to Tim Hortons Canada and US president Axel Schwan.
