Root, Inc. reported earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended June 30, 2022. For the second quarter, the company reported revenue was USD 80.4 million compared to USD 89.8 million a year ago. Net loss was USD 89.9 million compared to USD 178.6 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was USD 6.48 compared to USD 12.96 a year ago.
