Atresmedia's net revenue for the period January to September 2020 was €580.1 million, compared to €723.7 million for the same period in 2019.

The dominating factor throughout the first nine months of 2020 has been the global crisis caused by the Covid-19 pandemic. Against this backdrop, Atresmedia's operating profit (EBITDA) was €73.1 million (January to September 2019: €126.4 million). Net profit decreased to €39.9 million (January to September 2019 €80.3 million).

According to internal Atresmedia estimates, Atresmedia's television market share for the first nine months of 2020 was 41.8 per cent, up 0.3 percentage points compared to the same period last year. Atresmedia achieved a combined average audience share of 26.1 per cent, with a prime-time commercial target audience of 27.8 per cent. Antena 3 achieved an 11.5 per cent average audience share - in the commercial target group during prime-time the audience share was 12.8 per cent. LaSexta achieved an average audience share of 7.1 per cent. In the commercial target group during prime-time the audience share was 7.3 per cent.

RTL Group owns a stake of 18.7 per cent in Atresmedia.
