Maoming Huacai Ink Co., Ltd. agreed to acquire remaining 63.26% stake in Maoming Sakata Inx Co., Ltd. from Sakata INX Corporation (TSE:4633) for CNY 69.5 million on February 28, 2024. Maoming Sakata Inx Co., Ltd reported Total revenue of CNY 214 million, Total assets worth CNY 254 million, EBIT of CNY 19 million, Total Common equity of CNY 131 million and Net loss of CNY 115 million on December 2023. Transaction is expected to complete on April 2024.
SAKATA INX CORPORATION is a J engaged in the manufacture and sale of printing ink. The Company operates in five business segments. The Printing Ink / Equipment (Japan) segment, Printing Ink (Asia) segment, Printing Ink (North America) segment and Printing Ink (Europe) segment are mainly engaged in printing ink business that produces and sells newspaper ink, offset ink, flexo ink, gravure ink and metal ink for each market. The Printing Ink / Equipment (Japan) segment is also involved in the operation of printing equipment business that purchases and sells materials for printing plate making, as well as printing plate making related equipment.
