The Board of Directors of Santak Holdings Limited updated shareholders that some employees at its wholly owned subsidiary's factory in Johor, Malaysia ("Johor Factory") have been tested positive for COVID-19. The Johor Factory has reported to the relevant Authorities in Malaysia and currently awaiting further instructions from the Malaysian Authorities. Meantime, the Johor Factory has voluntarily halted its operation and disinfected the whole factory and arranged all its employees for COVID-19 tests today. In addition, employees identified as close contacts have been isolated and put under self-quarantine. Barring any unforeseen circumstances, the Johor Factory is expected to resume operation shortly after the disinfection of the factory and testing of its employees unless there is any other instructions from the relevant Malaysian Authorities. The extent of any adverse financial impact is not possible to ascertain at the moment as the situation remains fluid. The Company is closely monitoring the situation and shall keep Shareholders informed of any material developments as and when they arise.
