Sarawak Oil Palms Berhad is a Malaysia-based investment holding company. The Company is principally engaged in cultivation of oil palms and operations of palm oil mills. The Company operates through two segments: Oil Palms and Property development. Oil Palms segment is engaged in cultivation, processing, refining and trading of palm products. Property development segment is engaged in the development of residential and commercial properties. The Companyâs subsidiaries include SOP Karabungan Sdn. Bhd., SOP Pelita Batu Lintang Plantation Sdn. Bhd., SOP Plantations (Balingian) Sdn. Bhd., SOP Plantations (Beluru) Sdn. Bhd., SOP Plantations (Borneo) Sdn. Bhd., SOP Plantations (Kemena) Sdn. Bhd., SOP Plantations (Niah) Sdn. Bhd., SOP Plantations (Sarawak) Sdn. Bhd., SOP Plantations (Suai) Sdn. Bhd. and others. It has approximately 122000 hectares of landbank of, which 88,000 hectares are planted with oil palms. It has over seven mills practice sustainability by processing FFB into CPO.
