Göttingen, January 15, 2019 - How special data analysis helps to make the perfect microwave popcorn is one technology Sartorius will be demonstrating on January 26 from 5:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. on Sartorius Campus. As part of the 4th Göttingen Nacht des Wissens - the Night of Knowledge event - visitors can also use Sartorius pipettes and filters to remove colorants from Fanta Orange sodas, weigh their fingerprints or watch on a live-cell analysis system how tumor cells are destroyed. For the first time, Sartorius will be taking part in the City of Göttingen's Night of Knowledge event series.

Sartorius staff members will hold presentations on the growing importance of the biopharmaceutical industry for society and laboratories of the future. In addition, visitors will receive information about the company's history and on how Sartorius products help in the development and manufacture of new medications. This event is free of charge.

To take one of the tours of the Sartorius filter production facilities that will begin every hour, visitors are required to make reservations at www.ndw.uni-goettingen.de. Shuttle buses will bring visitors to Sartorius Campus and back to the inner city on a regular schedule for free. Visitors can purchase food and beverages on Campus.
