SATS TAPS GROWING PRIVATE JET MARKET WITH PERSONALISED

LOUNGE AND PASSENGER SERVICES

Singapore, 11 June 2019 - SATS Ltd. (SATS), Asia's leading provider of Food Solutions and Gateway Services, today unveiled the Business Aviation Centre (BAC) at Seletar Airport. BAC is managed by SATS Seletar Aviation Services Pte Ltd (SSAS), a joint venture company SATS formed with Jet Aviation and Universal Aviation.

The number of flights for business aviation is expected to grow 3 to 5% year on year. To date, SSAS handled more than 4,000 flight movements since its first flight at Seletar Airport on 19 November 2018, of which close to 70% are attributed to business aviation.

Passenger services at BAC are personalised to meet the unique needs of the private jet customers for discretion, privacy and speed. Purposefully designed to ease passengers' seamless passage through the airport, the process of baggage handling, security check and immigration clearance can be facilitated swiftly in the comfort of the tastefully furnished BAC lounge. Harnessing SATS' culinary innovation and expertise, private jet travellers can also be treated to fine-dining in the skies, special dietary meals, express laundry services and even a personal shopper as part of our premium offerings.

Bob Chi, Chairman of SSAS said, "Private jet travellers are usually on a tight schedule and travel frequently. Saving time while travelling is naturally important to this segment of customers. They will find the seamless, fuss-free, and personalised experience that cuts end-to-end travel time a great attraction. SATS hopes to support Changi Airport in their plan to grow Seletar Airport into a hub for business travellers and tourists travelling on private jet."

Since 21 April 2019, SATS is also handling Firefly flights from Seletar Airport.
