Schaeffler India Limited announced unaudited earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2018. For the quarter, the company reported total income of INR 12,085.2 million against INR 10,192.3 million a year ago. Profit before exceptional items and tax was INR 1,781.7 million against INR 1,474.3 million a year ago. Profit before tax was INR 1,390.3 million against INR 1,470.3 million a year ago. Profit for the period was INR 906.6 million against INR 954.8 million a year ago. Basic and diluted EPS was INR 29 against INR 30.5 a year ago. Total profit before finance costs and tax was INR 1,624.8 million against INR 1,328.8 million a year ago.
For the nine months, the company reported total income of INR 34,394.8 million against INR 31,211.8 million a year ago. Profit before exceptional items and tax was INR 5,180.5 million against INR 4,321.1 million a year ago. Profit before tax was INR 4,748.5 million against INR 4,317.1 million a year ago.
