TCW Asset Management Company LLC, Cerberus Capital Management, L.P. and Lantern Capital Partners, L.P. acquired Substantially All Assets of School Specialty, Inc. (OTCPK:SCOO) on September 15, 2020. In connection with the transaction, Ryan M. Bohr, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of School Specialty, was named President and Chief Executive Officer. Post-closing, the acquired assets will operate as School Specialty, LLC. Mayer Brown LLP and Godfrey & Kahn, S.C. acted as legal advisor to School Specialty, Inc.
