Scientific Games Corporation reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2021. For the third quarter, the company reported revenue was USD 539 million compared to USD 432 million a year ago. Net income was USD 182 million compared to net loss of USD 117 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 0.99 compared to basic loss per share from continuing operations of USD 2.03 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 0.96 compared to diluted loss per share from continuing operations of USD 2.03 a year ago. Basic earnings per share was USD 1.89 compared to basic loss per share of USD 1.23 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share was USD 1.84 compared to diluted loss per share of USD 1.23 a year ago.
For the nine months, revenue was USD 1,572 million compared to USD 1,219 million a year ago. Net income was USD 276 million compared to net loss of USD 479 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was USD 0.55 compared to USD 7.14 a year ago. Diluted loss per share from continuing operations was USD 0.55 compared to USD 7.14 a year ago.
