SEWON E&C CO., Ltd. reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2023. For the third quarter, the company reported sales was KRW 38,551.88 million compared to KRW 34,770.1 million a year ago. Net loss was KRW 909.99 million compared to net income of KRW 855.59 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was KRW 21 compared to basic earnings per share from continuing operations of KRW 18 a year ago. Diluted loss per share from continuing operations was KRW 21 compared to diluted earnings per share from continuing operations of KRW 9 a year ago. Basic loss per share was KRW 21 compared to basic earnings per share of KRW 18 a year ago.
For the nine months, sales was KRW 125,924.28 million compared to KRW 87,699.87 million a year ago. Net loss was KRW 2,815.36 million compared to net income of KRW 1,843.46 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was KRW 65 compared to basic earnings per share from continuing operations of KRW 51 a year ago. Diluted loss per share from continuing operations was KRW 107 compared to diluted earnings per share from continuing operations of KRW 35 a year ago. Basic loss per share was KRW 65 compared to basic earnings per share of KRW 51 a year ago. Diluted loss per share was KRW 107 compared to diluted earnings per share of KRW 35 a year ago.
Sewon E&C Co Ltd, formerly Sewon Cellontech Co Ltd, is a Korea-based company principally engaged in the manufacture and sale of process equipment. The Company operates its business through three segments. The Process Equipment Business segment is engaged in the design and manufacture of process equipment such as heat exchangers and reactors, among others. This segmentâs products are used in petrochemicals, oil and gas, power generation, among others. The Power Limb Business segment produces and supplies power limb such as pumps, valves, cylinders and others. This segmentâs products are used in automobile equipment, machine tools and steel equipment, among others. The Other Business segment manufactures glass lining equipment, centrifuges and others.
