Shaftesbury has officially announced a series of strategic updates to its portfolio of offices across the West End, including the roll-out of a new bespoke plug-and-play concept, and key appointments to its dedicated office team.

The new workspace concept, branded Assemble, is now available at Shaftesbury's prominent office locations in Seven Dials and Carnaby. Created in response to the evolving market and occupier requirements, Assemble provides tenants with a flexible and hassle-free solution to occupy fully fitted, high quality office spaces.

As well as providing private and fully cabled office space, the concept offers occupiers a selection of pre-designed interior schemes, with each village having its own choice of three distinctive styles and bespoke colour palettes, inspired by the respective local area.

The concept is available in the recently refurbished office spaces in Seven Dials, the Neal Street Lofts (39-45 Neal Street) and 16 & 20 Shorts Gardens. Set across three levels, the Shorts Gardens location includes a sought-after 2,000 sq ft roof terrace overlooking the popular Neal's Yard and its collection of restaurants, stores, the Donmar Warehouse Theatre, and Seven Dials Market by KERB. Show suites have also been fitted out in three key office locations in Carnaby; 50 Marshall Street, 49 Carnaby Street and 35 Great Marlborough Street.

Shaftesbury's implementation of the plug-and-play Assemble concept follows the appointment of Isabel Thomas to the newly created role of Head of Offices. Isabel is responsible for Shaftesbury's 400,000 sq ft of office space, and will oversee the refurbishments and developments that are ongoing in the portfolio.

In addition, Shaftesbury has confirmed the appointment of RX London, a new central London boutique practice, to Shaftesbury's office leasing team.

Isabel Thomas, Head of Offices at Shaftesbury, commented: 'Office space has always been an integral part of the mix across Shaftesbury's villages, and is even more significant now as the capital re-opens and workers return. Just as important is having an approach that makes it as easy as possible for new occupiers to move in and start work. 'Assemble' is our answer to this challenge. It combines the simplicity of plug and play offices with the character of Shaftesbury's portfolio to create an offer unique in the West End. Together as a refreshed team, we are in a very strong position as the West End's recovery begins.'

Catherine Tilley, Partner at RX London, added: 'It is with great pleasure that we join forces with Shaftesbury to work on such a distinctive and diverse office portfolio in the West End. The adaptable and customisable nature of 'Assemble' makes it highly relevant to the current market and brings even more appeal to the portfolio as we drive it forward.'

RX London joins the existing Colliers team as joint agents to market the company's Seven Dials and Carnaby office offering.
