Shanghai International Airport said its first-quarter losses narrowed as revenue recovered after China's post-Covid reopening.

The Chinese airport operator posted a net loss of 99.3 million yuan ($14.4 million), narrowed from a loss of CNY504.4 million a year earlier.

Revenue rose 19% to CNY2.15 billion.

The company said "business volume" rose significantly at its two airports in Shanghai during the quarter. It added that it swung to a monthly profit in March.
