Shawcor will provide coating for the Northern Lights project, a 100km pipeline that will transport liquified CO2 to an offshore, subsea location in the North Sea for permanent storage. Northern Lights is part of a full-scale carbon capture and storage project in Norway, known as "Longship". This pipeline will be the first of its kind in the Norwegian Continental Shelf.
