Sun Xiangdong agreed to acquire Shanghai Refond Optoelectronics Co., Ltd. from Shenzhen Refond Optoelectronics Co.,Ltd. (SZSE:300241) and Ningbo Ruikang Optoelectronics Co., Ltd. for CNY 250 million on March 5, 2018. Shenzhen Refond Optoelectronics Co.,Ltd. and Ningbo Ruikang Optoelectronics Co., Ltd. will transfer 62.5% stake and 37.5% stake respectively. For the year ended December 31, 2017, Shanghai Refond Optoelectronics Co., Ltd. reported total assets of CNY 257.2 million, net assets of CNY 254.7 million, revenue of CNY 96.9 million, and net profit of CNY 6.5 million. The transaction was approved by the Board of Directors of Shenzhen Refond Optoelectronics Co.,Ltd.
