Ship Healthcare Holdings, Inc. (TSE:3360) concluded a Contract to acquire a 14.9% stake in Kingrun Co., Ltd. from Tatsuya Matsubara on March 4, 2022. As part of the transaction, Ship Healthcare will acquire 121,000 shares in Kingrun. Ship Healthcare will proceed with negotiations with each shareholder regarding the acquisition of additional shares by the end of the first quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2023. Tatsuya Matsubara holds 36.9% stake, Izumi Tone holds 28.1% stake and King Run Employee Stockholding Association holds 15.8% stake in Kingrun. For the Fiscal year ending May, 2021, Kingrun reported net assets of ¥5.79 billion, total assets of ¥21.4 billion, and sales of ¥26.2 billion. The transaction is resolved by the board of Ship Healthcare and expected to complete on April 27, 2022. The transaction will not affect the Ship Healthcare's business results for the fiscal year ending March 2022.
