Silicon Optronics, Inc. announced earnings results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2020. For the first quarter, the company announced total revenue was TWD 599.767 million compared to TWD 351.136 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 48.175 million compared to operating loss of TWD 839,000 a year ago. Net income was TWD 43.257 million compared to TWD 2.302 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 0.56 compared to TWD 0.03 a year ago.
Silicon Optronics, Inc. is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the development and distribution of complementary metal-oxide semiconductor (CMOS) image sensors and modules. The Company's products include Video Graphics Array (VGA) area CMOS image sensors, high definition (HD) /Full HD area CMOS image sensors, two Mb/five Mb/eight Mb area CMOS image sensors and 1200/2400 dots per inch (dpi) linear CMOS image sensor/modules. The Company's products are applied in digital cameras, mobile phones, surveillance cameras and other image scanning products. The Company distributes its products within domestic market and to overseas markets.
