Silicon Optronics, Inc. announced earnings results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2021. For the second quarter, the company announced total revenue was TWD 1,086.136 million compared to TWD 539.091 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 301.180 million compared to TWD 8.086 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 248.630 million compared to TWD 12.714 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 3.22 compared to TWD 0.16 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share was TWD 3.21 compared to TWD 0.16 a year ago. For the half year, total revenue was TWD 2,009.495 million compared to TWD 1,138.858 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 435.779 million compared to TWD 56.261 million a year ago. Silicon Optronics, Inc. is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the development and distribution of complementary metal-oxide semiconductor (CMOS) image sensors and modules. The Company's products include Video Graphics Array (VGA) area CMOS image sensors, high definition (HD) /Full HD area CMOS image sensors, two Mb/five Mb/eight Mb area CMOS image sensors and 1200/2400 dots per inch (dpi) linear CMOS image sensor/modules.
