Silla Co., Ltd. (KOSE:A004970) agreed to sell 18.99% stake in Silla SG Co., Ltd. (KOSDAQ:A025870) for KRW 4.6 billion on February 16, 2016. Silla Co., Ltd. will sell 0.76 million shares of Silla SG Co., Ltd. at KRW 6050 per share in the transaction.
Silla Co., Ltd. (KOSE:A004970) completed the sale of 18.99% stake in Silla SG Co., Ltd. (KOSDAQ:A025870) for KRW 4.6 billion on February 16, 2016.
SILLA SG CO., LTD. is a Korea-based company engaged in the manufacture and distribution of processed seafood and meats. The Company mainly operates in two divisions. The food manufacturing division produces crab meat, fish cakes, fish sausages, salted fish, pickled food, fish pastes and others. The wholesale and retail division distributes imported beef and pork from the United States, Australia, New Zealand and Europe to domestic market, as well as pollack roe and other aquatic products. It also involves in the leasing business for food storage use. The Company's main clients are CJ CHEILJEDANG CORP. and others.
