Silver Range Resources Ltd. announced that it has acquired a new high grade gold property in Esmeralda County, Nevada. Silver Range staked the South Weepah Property, 5.5 kilometres south of the Weepah Mine and 39 kilometres northeast of Silver Peak, Nevada. The property is centred on an east-northeast trending fault zone cutting silicified Tertiary rhyolite and Cambrian basement rocks.

Historical samples collected from workings along this 800 metre-long feature returned up to 30.9 g/t gold. This project was generated from archival research of proprietary exploration data purchased by Silver Range. The property was sampled during the recent staking and results are pending.

Silver Range intends to conduct geological mapping, alteration mineral mapping, additional rock sampling, soil sampling and VLF-EM surveys to identify drill targets on this property.
