Simone has purchased the domain of Open Positions.

(Alliance News) - Simone Spa announced Friday that it has purchased the domain www.posizioniaperte.com.

Open Positions is a portal that helps job seekers connect with companies and government agencies that are looking for staff. In the fourth quarter of last year, the site recorded 440,000 visits, accounting for 20 percent of the traffic of the group's two main domains, "Edizioni Simone" and "Simone concorsi."

"The investment is strategic for the company as it strengthens the group's web presence, a goal already stated during the IPO and in line with the growth strategies outlined by the company. In addition, the new domain will allow Simone to approach not only its traditional market of people seeking employment in the public administration, but also the demand for jobs in the private sector," said Simone.

Luca Misso, managing director of Simone, said, "With this operation, Simone decisively increases its web presence and offers a new service to users of our online services. Like Simone, the Open Positions platform has helped and continues to help so many people get the job position they want. We are confident that from this new acquisition we will be able to develop new business opportunities and further improve the market position of our products, both print and digital."

Simone's stock is up 3.6 percent to EUR2.01 per share.
