Simple Mart Retail Co., Ltd. reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2023. For the third quarter, the company reported sales was TWD 3,761.57 million compared to TWD 3,745.08 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 39.47 million compared to TWD 15.22 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.58 compared to TWD 0.23 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.58 compared to TWD 0.23 a year ago.
For the nine months, sales was TWD 10,515.48 million compared to TWD 10,606.99 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 67.25 million compared to TWD 25.59 million a year ago. SIMPLE MART RETAIL CO., LTD. is a Taiwan-based company mainly engaged in retail of consumer goods, as well as the online and retail stores business under the brands of Mei Lian She, Da Mei Discount Supermarket, Xi Pu Market, Yole, Mei Lian Cheng Chao, Go Mei Lian and OFFICE Mart. The Foods business includes fresh foods, eggs, drinks, biscuits, snack foods and canned foods. The Tobacco and Alcohol business includes cigarettes, beer, spirits, and edible wine. The Other Commodity business includes household products, personal cleaning products and hardware. The Service business includes various collection fee service and venue rental service.
