Singapore Technologies Engineering : Upcoming Board Changes

Singapore, 14 April 2020 - Singapore Technologies Engineering Ltd (ST Engineering or the Company) today announced that Dr Beh Swan Gin, who will be retiring as an independent non-executive Director of the Company at the 23^rd Annual General Meeting of the Company (AGM), will not be seeking re-election at the AGM. ST Engineering had previously announced that the AGM, which was originally scheduled for 23 April 2020, would be deferred to a future date to be determined, due to the Covid-19 situation.

Dr Beh joined the Board in September 2014 and has served as a member of the Budget and Finance Committee since May 2015, including after it was revamped and renamed as the Strategy & Finance Committee in 2017. His decision not to seek re-election is due to his other commitments.

ST Engineering will announce the effective date of cessation of Dr Beh as a Director, after the date for the deferred AGM has been determined, and the AGM has been held accordingly.

In the meantime, the Board of Directors wishes to thank Dr Beh for his invaluable contributions to the Board and Board Committees on which he has served.
