Sirios Resources Inc. announced the start of a 1,200-metre diamond drilling program on Sirios' Cheechoo gold property in Eeyou Istchee, James Bay, Quebec. The proposed holes will test the lateral and depth continuity of gold mineralization discovered in the 2022 trenches, from which an interval grading 2.65 g/t Au over 11.0 m was obtained. This gold mineralization, identified in meta-sedimentary rocks, was also intersected in holes #67, 129 and 269, which included an interval of 0.9 g/t Au over 15.7 m. Sirios?

100% owned Cheechoo property is in the Eeyou Istchee James Bay region of Quebec, approximately 800 km north of Montreal, 200 km east of Wemindji and less than 10 km from Newmont?s Eleonore gold mine. The last update of the mineral resource estimate for Cheechoo, based on an open pit constrained model, includes an indicated resource of 1.4 million ounces of gold contained in 46.3 million tonnes at an average grade of 0.94 g/t Au, and an inferred resource of 0.5 million ounces of gold contained in 21.1 million tonnes at an average grade of 0.73 g/t Au .
