LIVE coverage of Donald Trump's inauguration will commence from 3am NZT on Saturday morning, 21 January across SKY news channels.

These will include CNN, BBC WORLD NEWS, SKY NEWS and FOX NEWS.

CNN will carry all-day coverage of the US Presidential Inauguration on Friday 21 January 20 from 9pm NZT. This will include the swearing-in ceremony, the parade, the inaugural balls and all official events. There will also be coverage of protests, executive actions and everything else that happens throughout 20 - 22 January 2017.

BBC World News will begin live coverage on Saturday 21 January from 1am NZT.

Presented live by the BBC's Katty Kay from atop the Newseum, the BBC will follow the official proceedings on Inauguration Day, including the swearing in ceremony, the inaugural address, as well as the presidential parade to the White House. Along with following events in Washington DC the BBC will also be gauging reaction from around the world to a day which marks the transfer of Presidential power from one administration to the next and analysing the significance of this transition to the wider international community.
