Slavneft-YANOS begins construction of a delayed coking complex. The project received a positive approval from the Glavgosexpertiza of Russia. Thanks to the future complex, the Refinery will completely stop producing fuel oil. Indicators of oil processing conversion rate and light oil product yield will exceed 99% and 70%, respectively. Construction work is scheduled to be completed in 2024. The project will be implemented in two stages. At first, a Delayed Coking Unit will be built which will process more than 3.4 million tons of heavy oil fractions per year. The second section will bring into operation sections for hydrotreating naphtha and light coking gas oil. They will ensure the production of the feed for gasoline and diesel fuel. The project received support from the Government of the Yaroslavl Region, an agreement on the implementation of the project was signed within the framework of the XXIII St. Petersburg International Economic Forum. Along with the increase in fuel efficiency indicators, the project will further reduce the impact of production on the environment and create new jobs.
