For the quarter, the company reported operating income of BRL 26,827,000 and income before income tax of BRL 162,165,000 and net income assigned to members of the parent company of BRL 136,247,000 on net revenue of BRL 705,728,000 against operating loss of BRL 20,907,000 and income before income tax of BRL 157,500,000 and net income assigned to members of the parent company of BRL 112,574,000 on net revenue of BRL 575,211,000 for the same period of last year. Net cash from operational activities was BRL 264,019,000 against BRL 446,628,000 for the same period of last year. Purchase of fixed assets was BRL 177,735,000 against BRL 95,007,000 for the same period of last year. Purchase of intangible assets was BRL 2,297,000 against BRL 955,000 for the same period of last year.

For the year, the company reported operating loss of BRL 83,843,000 and income before income tax of BRL 500,990,000 and net income assigned to members of the parent company of BRL 356,341,000 on net revenue of BRL 1,858,054,000 against operating loss of BRL 136,153,000 and loss before income tax of BRL 4,161,000 and net income assigned to members of the parent company of BRL 29,945,000 on net revenue of BRL 1,601,945,000 for the same period of last year. Net cash from operational activities was BRL 371,612,000 against BRL 305,652,000 for the same period of last year. Purchase of fixed assets was BRL 177,735,000 against BRL 95,007,000 for the same period of last year. Purchase of intangible assets was BRL 6,754,000 against BRL 1,915,000 for the same period of last year. Adjusted net debt ended the year down 2.8% on the prior year BRL 852,854,000 in 2016 versus BRL 828,788,000 in 2017. Total adjusted EBITDA was BRL 738 million.

The company expects, continued strong & high level of profitability to carry through into 2018.

The prospects for the 2017/2018 crop year are excellent. As of March 5, we have harvested 47% of the soybean crop, with a yield of 60.8 bags per hectare, a level we expect to maintain through the end of the half, which will be above our budget yield target of 56 bags per hectare.
