Northern Star (Carosue Dam) Pty Limited entered into a binding sale and purchase agreement to acquire 80% stake in Hobbes exploration licence E31/1117 from Solstice Minerals Limited for AUD 10 million.

Northern Star (Carosue Dam) Pty Limited entered into a binding sale and purchase agreement to acquire 80% stake in Hobbes exploration licence E31/1117 from Solstice Minerals Limited (ASX:SLS) for AUD 10 million on April 9, 2024. The remaining 20% interest in the licence is held by an unrelated private company that has also agreed to sell its interest in the Hobbes Exploration Licence to Northern Star on substantially the same terms. In addition, Northern Star is acquiring the 20% interest in the Hobbes Exploration Licence from the Minority Holder for AUD 2.5 million in cash. This additional transaction is conditional upon completion occurring under the Northern Star and Solstice agreement.

The acquisition is conditional upon assignment and assumption of a royalty agreement, termination of the existing earn-in agreement between Solstice and the Minority Holder and termination of an existing access agreement between Solstice and Northern Star. The completion will take place within five business days.
