St.Shine Optical Co.,Ltd. reported earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended June 30, 2023. For the second quarter, the company reported sales was TWD 1,074.34 million compared to TWD 1,225.24 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 138 million compared to TWD 241.76 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 2.74 compared to TWD 4.8 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 2.73 compared to TWD 4.78 a year ago.
For the six months, sales was TWD 2,205.67 million compared to TWD 2,571 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 300.96 million compared to TWD 538.39 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 5.97 compared to TWD 10.68 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 5.93 compared to TWD 10.61 a year ago.
ST.SHINE OPTICAL CO., LTD is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the manufacture and distribution of contact lenses. The Company mainly provides conventional contact lens, including rigid gas permeable (RGP) contact lens and conventional soft contact lens, as well as disposable soft contact lens. It distributes its products under the Ticon brand. Its products include lathe-cutting and cast-molding contact lenses.
