StarGlory Holdings Company Limited provides unaudited consolidated earnings guidance for the nine months ended December 31, 2020. For the nine months, the company expected to record a profit attributable to owners of the Company within the range of HKD 6.1 million to HKD 7.2 million for the Reporting Period, while the unaudited loss attributable to owners of the Company for the nine months ended 31 December 2019 was approximately HKD 8.1 million. The Board considers that the turnaround from loss to profit during the Reporting Period was mainly because there was a decrease in the number of under-performing restaurants as the Group has reviewed the performance of restaurants and consolidated under-performing restaurants to further enhance the structure and reduce unnecessary expenses since the financial year ended 31 March 2020; the Group received subsidies from the Anti-epidemic Fund from the government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region recorded as other income in the sum of approximately HKD 14.3 million for the Group's business activities carried in Hong Kong during the Reporting Period; and the Group recognised an one-off unaudited gain of approximately HKD 1.9 million from the disposal of subsidiaries for the operation of Japanese curry restaurants under the trade name of Shirokuma Curry in late September 2020.
