SBI has promoted eight chief general managers (CGMs) to deputy managing director (DMD) positions. The new appointees will replace incumbents who will retire during the current financial year. The bank chose eight from the 23 CGMs who were interviewed for the position. It also promoted 12 general managers to the position of CGM. The new DMDs are: Keshav Kumar Thekepat, Ashwani Bhatia, Sanjiv Chadha, Alok Kumar Choudhary, Hare Krishna Jena, Sandeep Tewari, Soma Sankar Prasad and J Swaminathan.
