Step Co.,Ltd. (TSE:9795) announces a share repurchase program. Under the program, the company will repurchase up to 1,000,000 shares, representing 6.13% of its share capital, for ¥1,900 million. The purpose of the program is to enable the execution of business strategies, strengthening of shareholder's returns through improved capital efficiency and implementation of flexible capital management in response to changes in the business environment.
The program is till September 30, 2024. As of September 30, 2023, the company had 16,313,078 shares issued (excluding treasury stock and 356,922 shares in treasury.
